Deburr

The primary responsibility of the Deburr/Part Preparation Specialist will be the deburring and preparation of custom parts to part print specification.  This individual must be willing to work 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday (4 days per week), for at least 5 years.  In addition, all 2nd shift positions receive a $4.00 shift premium.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Determine the most efficient processing steps to include deburring, cleaning, and preparation of parts after machining while maintaining product quality
• Load and adjust work pieces onto equipment or worktables using hand tools, hoist, and lifting straps
• Trim, scrape, or deburr parts using grinders, chisels, scrapers, or other hand tools and equipment
• Safely and efficiently transport equipment and materials
• Additional tasks as required

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous machining experience a plus, but not required
• Must be able to accurately read part prints
• Must exhibit a clear understanding of the metric system and proficient math skills

• Willing to work overtime as deemed necessary by the company
• Willing to work 1st or 2nd shift temporarily or permanently
