Human Resources Assistant

The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resources department.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepares and distributes miscellaneous reports upon requests
• Interviews candidates for GROB’s Apprenticeship Program
• Coordinate and monitor uniform orders for new hires and annual order for all employees
• Coordinate and monitor annual safety shoe order for employees
• Cover the receptionist desk during lunch break and other absences
• Serve as back-up for new hire orientation classes
• Coordinate and monitor employee engagement initiatives
• Office supply ordering
• Assist with coordinating and booking business and international travel
• Assist with foreign letters of invitation and support letters
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in related field
• Prior related office experience preferred
• Knowledge of SAP software is a plus

General Requirements:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discrete and professional manner
• Ability to effectively work with employees at all levels of the organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Willing to work overtime, if necessary
• This position requires work to be done in person and on site
