Preventative Maintenance Specialist

The position will travel to our customers to perform semi-annual and/or annual preventative maintenance.  Strong interpersonal communication skills are necessary.  This position requires a mechanical aptitude, experience reviewing mechanical/electrical schematics, and an investigative mindset with the ability to accurately report findings. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site maintenance services to our customers 5-axis Grob equipment
• Document your findings and corrective actions to present to the customer
• Communicate what you are finding in real time with the Grob customer support team
• Troubleshoot machine errors
• Read and follow mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical prints/drawing
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (such as calipers, levels, indicators, micrometers, etc.)

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma minimum
• Understanding of drawings, schematics and troubleshooting
• NC programming experience is a plus
• Previous CNC machining or machine building experience preferred

General Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong math skills and understanding of mechanics
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• Willing to work overtime as needed
• Willing to travel domestic and international
