Sub Assembly Logistics Technician

The primary function of this position will be to support the Mechanical Sub Assembly management team in the delivery and tracking of project materials to the assembly area.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Part tracking and locating of missing materials issued to the Assembly departments
- Creating requisitions and in house orders for replacement materials
- Collaborate with the material storage departments in warehouse requests and immediate needs of stock materials
- Monitoring a control board daily of project requirements to ensure upcoming material needs are on schedule
- Assisting in the completion of non-conformity reports for failed materials
- Following up on past due materials to coordinate arrival in a timely manner
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with SAP (Knowledge in warehouse management and purchasing a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to comprehend 2-D drawings
General Requirements
- Willingness to handle miscellaneous tasks
- Self-motivated; able to work alone or in a team
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
