Technical Coordinator of Sales Engineering

As a Technical Coordinator of Sales Engineering, you will be responsible to support the CSO in two (2) major roles:

 

  • Support in all aspects of the daily work routine, which includes, but is not limited to:
    • Maintaining the CSO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings (including participants on site as well as in other global corporate locations), appointments, etc.
    • Travel arrangements
    • Keep the CSO advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up
    • Preparing presentations (internally and for customers)
    • Create or finalize visit reports and meeting minutes
    • Track open tasks, create reminder in appropriate systems
    • Routinely perform a wide variety of support duties
    • Transcribe source material, prepare documents, reports, tables and charts; distribute as appropriate.
    • Prepare, reconcile, and submit expense reports.
    • Maintain paper and electronic filing systems.
    • Maintain confidential and sensitive information
    • Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned from time to time, including supporting other departments or Executives as needed.

 

  • Technical and strategic support function, which includes, but is not limited to:
    • Analyzing and improving existing processes, as well as introduction of new processes and workflows
    • Active participation in internal (international) corporate projects
    • Streamlining and optimizing existing documents and forms
    • Organizing data by optimizing existing or creating new databases
    • “Bridge” function to several specialized and sales department in the corporate headquarters
    • Support in introduction of new technologies and processes from corporate headquarter
    • Performing trainings and preparing regular (quarterly) meetings for all sales members

 

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Associates degree (or higher) in engineering or other technical field is required.
  • 5+ years experience in a sales environment of complex industrial goods is preferred.
  • German language skills are a plus.
